For 21 years I've helped families buy and sell across South Lake County — from the Clermont chain of lakes to the new-construction neighborhoods of Groveland and Minneola, and out into Sumter County. Wherever you're headed, I know the ground.
I'm Mitchell Stiefel, a Realtor with LoKation Real Estate based right here in Clermont. Since I earned my Florida license in 2005, I've spent 21 years learning these towns the only way that really counts — one home, one family, one closing at a time.
South Lake County is defined by its water. The Clermont chain of lakes runs through the heart of it, with rolling hills and established neighborhoods that draw buyers from all over. Just west and south, Groveland and Minneola have grown quickly with new construction, acreage, and family-friendly streets. My work stretches across Lake County and into Sumter County, so if you're buying or selling anywhere in the area, chances are I've been down the road before.
Below are the three towns I work in most, each with its own page. Further down you'll find the rest of the area I serve.
Deep, hands-on knowledge of the communities I've sold in for two decades.
The chain of lakes, rolling hills, and established neighborhoods. Buyer, seller, and lakefront experience.
New construction and acreage on the growing side of the county. Recent seller-side sales from $375K to $605K.
Fast-growing and family-friendly, with quick access to the Turnpike and Highway 27. Recently sold on Cherry Laurel St.
Beyond Clermont, Groveland, and Minneola, I regularly help buyers and sellers across the surrounding towns.
Mascotte and Montverde round out the South Lake communities I know well — Montverde for its lakes and rural character, Mascotte for its small-town feel and value. Winter Garden sits just east, on the Orange County line, popular with buyers who want a quick reach into the Orlando side of things.
Leesburg anchors the north end of Lake County, where I recently represented a buyer at 5413 Barnwell Ct. And into Sumter County, I serve Bushnell and Lake Panasoffkee — quieter, more rural corners where acreage and lake access are the draw.
If your town isn't listed here but it's anywhere in the neighborhood, call or text me. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you honestly and point you in the right direction.
No pressure and no obligation — just honest answers from someone who's worked these towns for 21 years. Call or text and I'll get right back to you.
